Keshavtar is a Village Development Committee (VDC) in Tanahun District in the Gandaki Zone of central Nepal. According to Nepal census 1991 in that time, it had a population of 8385 people living in 1566 individual households. The geographical location is shown below in the google man along with internet broadband highway connection. With help of Dr. Mahabir Pun from Nepal Wireless Networking Project internet connection initially aimed only for the school started sometimes early 2009. Over the period of last two years many people abroad from this VDC have overwhelmingly joined the group and have donated the money for this good cause. Dr. Pun later changed his mind hence decided to set up as a model project which now includes 10x computers for the School, 5x computers for the Community (Mother Group) and 1x computer for health post. In order to help this project complete he also managed to out source it from the Friends of Nepal (FON) in USA. The connection has been successfully established. Recently a visit programme was organized. The visitors included the members of friends of Nepal (FON) Suzie Schneider, Don Messerchmidt, Sally Savaglio, Dr. Mahabir Pun, Col Dhan Ale & Kumar Ale.
